The Future of Guidance Services: the international survey of MyFuture project

The MyFuture project aims to help schools and local guidance systems to develop new forms of collaboration and new synergies for the development and sharing of information resources and guidance tools. The international survey has started in all the countries involved and addresses in particular teachers and guidance consultants.

Career guidance is a social responsibility that has to be shared among the various actors: school, university, public institutions, families, private realities and the world of work. The challenge for local guidance systems is open: new technologies make it possible to provide a great deal of information to each student, but this is not enough to ensure that everyone is able to make the best choices. It is necessary to help students to build their own criteria to select and access the opportunities and training pathways that best meet their professional aspirations.
